Wiegand Touch Sensor Biometric Reader with EM/HID or Mifare Reader
BIOPROX is a dual Wiegand biometric reader combined with an EM/HID or Mifare RFID reader for access control applications with storage of up to 9500 finger templates. Programmable Wiegand output (8 to 128 bits).

Double Technology: Biometry and RFID
The BIOPROX offers double technology with the following authentication: Finger only, Finger and card, Finger or card.
SteelCoat protective coating provides added protection of the fingerprint sensor for rugged environments.
The BIOPROX-EH reads EM4002/4100 and HID 125 kHz compatible cards with a read range of up to 5 cm.
The BIOPROX-MF reads Mifare Classic, Ultralight and Desfire cards with a read range of 6 cm.
Reader configuration through PC
The configuration of the readers and fingerprint enrollment is done through PC Software. The connection between the biometric readers is RS-485 and it is used for fingerprint transfer and configuration. Management of the reader is integrated in our access control software PROS CS.
Large LED around the reader for an easy and stylish reading status
Another key defining feature of this line of product is the multi-colour rectangular status LED. The RFID and biometric readers colour depending on the user’s key fob/fingerprint. Three LED status are available:
idle (orange) – no key fob/fingerprint present;
accepted (green) – key fob/fingerprint present;
denied (red) – not valid key fob/fingerprint present.
Available in different colors
There are 2 different colours by default: silver and black; with more colours available upon request like charcoal, blue, green, red or white.
