QR Code and RFID Reader
The QR Code and RFID reader integrates effectively with our PROS CS client-server software and EWS controllers, supporting QR code, 125 kHz and/or 13.56 MHz credentials and communicating via standard Wiegand protocol.
The configuration and the firmware update can be done using our PROS CS software via the USB-C input on the back of the reader or with a programming card.
The XP products are coming with the Xsecure® key programmable with the Product Manager software.

Features
Xsecure solution
The Xsecure solution is based on the concept of writing the identifier as data on pre-coded MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 13.56 MHz cards. Xsecure enables each card access key to be distinct and unique, produced through an irreversible diversification process. As a result, the data on the card is encrypted and sealed again, with an error checking against spoofing. Only the reader and the production card encoding system are aware of this operation. XPR encodes the cards and validates the identifiers issued to avoid duplication.
QR Code
The reader is equipped with a high-performance optical sensor capable of capturing QR codes on both paper and smartphone surfaces. With built-in illumination and an aiming spot, it provides fast and accurate decoding in any lighting condition, from bright sunlight to complete darkness. Mifare
The XP-QR-MFBT reads Mifare CSN, DESFire and Xsecure credentials with a read range of up to 9 cm.
The XP-QR-EHMFBT reads 125 KHz EM/HID (EM 4100/HID Prox), Mifare CSN, DESFire and Xsecure credentials with a read range of up to 9 cm.
Front intersected tricolour LED
The state of the reader is displayed by a front intersected triolour LED. When the card or key fob is presented, the LED transitions from blue to green if the access is granted, or from blue to red if it is denied. A prominent blue LED illuminates when the reader is connected and ready to receive credentials (idle mode).
